Next year, the Society’s annual conference, SDPS 2012, will return to Berlin. The largest SDPS conference ever held was there in 1998. The city has changed a lot since then. The 28 years of separation between east and west have largely been removed. Berlin is now a buzzeling city, much like in the 1920s. You’ll enjoy coming back to experience another great scientific event under the auspices of the Society for Process and Design Science. Even if it's your first visit to Berlin, you will see the wonders of an ancient city revitalized.

Our local host and co-conference chair will be Dr. Wolfgang Reisig from Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. He is supported by our Next Generation member and Co-chair Dr. Herwig Unger from FernUniversität in Hagen. Our plan is to make this event even bigger than 1998, and with your help we are sure to achieve this goal. We’ll use this opportunity to get together once again in the heart of Europe and to celebrate the 65 th  birthday of two veteran SDPS fellows.

Mark your calendar and think about organizing a session or workshop, contributing a paper, and convincing your peers to follow your example.  The Berlin conference will celebrate the 17 th  year since the formation of SDPS.
